This thread just reached the 1000 views. Another proof that Batman equals resonance and massive popularity, no matter where.
And I guess many people are lurking in the shadows here, laughing at DAZZ and his psychotic mind and low level IQ. Elementary, Watson!

Why do you care? I can see tracking individual movies because if they do well they will continue. BvS and Justice League didn't perform well so they changed course. Now we have a new Batman. That I can understand tracking. Or just tracking like I do because I like stats and figures.
This obessing over who sells more comics, merch, and tickets as an IP is retarded. Who cares which IP is worth more? It's like a dick measuring contest, but it's not your dick. You are proud that someone else's dick might be slightly bigger than another persons. You are obsessing over the size of someone else's dick.

Refresh your mind: www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/box-office-joker-become-top-grossing-r-rated-pic-all-time-1248949BvS almost grossed 900 million dollars WW. It was a huge success. In the home video department, it broke several records. I only pick pussy. And I can sure you that Catwoman is better than Mary Jane in that department. By a large margin. We're just discussing about two popular superheroes. This is a forum, a message board, you know. People have chosen Batman over Spider-Man, and that's interesting. Should they depict a more mature and grown up Spider-Man on movies? I think so. Batman keep winning for a reason...

I care about the facts sir, I personally have no skin in this game other than the truth, and mocking Supperhero for being a full blown mental mutant, so when the spanner sucking shite sandwich continues to lie I feel compelled to correct and mock him for his stupidity, that and point out the ignorance of his retorts which tend to be "hah says wiki unreliable" without checking that no wiki actually got those numbers from a source, and not some random dribbling fanatic just editing pages with false information.
On my end it's less about Spidey and more about pointing out the numb nut's numb nuttiness, and the misinformation most morons believe like said dunderhead does.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: The film grossed $166 million in the United States and Canada in its opening weekend,[214][215] the eighth-biggest opening of all time, ahead of The Dark Knight Rises' $160.9 million.[214] The film had a worldwide opening of $422.5 million, which stands as the second-biggest for Warner Bros. and the fifth-biggest of all time at the time of its release.[216][217] It became the fourth film to have a global opening above $400 million.[218] It also had an IMAX worldwide opening weekend total of $36 million from 945 IMAX screens, the third-biggest ever, behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($48 million) and Jurassic World ($44 million).[218] In the weeks leading up to the film's release, advance ticket sales outpaced The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, and Furious 7.[227] Worldwide, it was estimated to gross between $300–340 million in over 35,000 screens in its opening weekend.[211][228] It passed the $50 million mark in IMAX ticket sales on its second weekend, grossing a total of $53.4 million from 571 IMAX screens.[229][230] Warner Bros. domestic distribution chief Jeff Goldstein described the film's box office performance as a "fantastic result, by any measure."[231] Box office analyst Jeff Bock said "Still, outside of Christopher Nolan's two Dark Knight movies, and Tim Burton's Batman films when you adjust for inflation, this is the highest-grossing property in DC's bullpen thus far. It tops Man of Steel by more than $200 million," and that "overall, BvS successfully relaunched DC's cinematic universe." The film needed to reach $800 million in revenue at the box office to "recoup its investment" according to financial analysts.[232][233][171] Deadline Hollywood calculated the net profit of the film to be $105.7 million, when factoring together all expenses and revenues for the film.[237] The film debuted in first place on the home video sales chart for the week ending July 24, 2016.[330] As of January 19, 2019, it has made $22.1 million in DVD sales and $55.9 million in Blu-ray sales, totaling an estimated of $78 million.[331] DAZZ, DAZZ, DAZZ... take your meds, Spidey-Kid.

I never said it didn't make money, it made money but it was a huge disappointment, also I like how you don't notice the discrepancy in your own post, $800m was the break even point, it made $873m and yet made $105m profit...
Also from the article that those numbers are sourced from
Here is a fuller breakdown I will highlight important notes you seem to have missed.
"Box Office Grosses aren't the final story for most films... The actual money a studio makes depends on an assortment of factors and costs. Deadline Hollywood has crunched the available numbers and best estimates from Hollywood insiders to determine what kind of profits Batman V. Superman ultimately made after considering all revenue streams for the film itself and subtracting all of the assorted costs.
In the end, the film grossed $873m at the Worldwide box office, of which WB will pocket $367m. (The rest going to the theaters that showed the film.) Additionally, they calculate that the film earned WB another $314m in Home Entertainment and Television Revenue. This brings the film a Total Revenue amount of $681m for the studio.
However, that's just half the story... there are the costs to subtract. The film carried a Production Cost of $250m, and another $157m was spent on Prints and Advertising. Add in the $46m in Video release costs, and another $122m in assorted Participation Fees to the actors, producers and directors who had a share of the profits, Interest and Overhead costs, and you get a Total Cost amount of $575m.
Deducting that total cost from the total revenue, we find that the film ultimately earned $105m for Warner Bros."
You see the bold text actually shows that BVS was a Box Office flop, the movie only became profitable due to DVD, Blu Ray and TV rights fee's, so yeah again instead of spouting off like a moronic cunt do some actual reading you moron.
And if I really wanted I could make the argument that Iron Man is the actual CBM king of the box office, using the logic you have used to justify including Suicide Squad and JL as Batman franchise movies, and in doing so Iron Man wipes his dick all over Batman's face as a sign of dominance, and again doing so with far fewer movies making it a double dicking.

Iron Man solo movies aren't popular or profitable like Batman movies... now you're changing your tune because you admit that Batman wins over Spider-Man So what you are trying to say is that the source you used to "prove" BVS was a mega hit is only reliable when it fits your narrative and is taken out of context? BVS making $105M in profit is reliable information but how the revenue streams line up is not? Ok cherub whatever you say.
But if those numbers were to be believed then yes BVS was a flop, if it made less money for WB than it cost them to make it is by definition a flop, BVS by analyses presented made WB $50m less than they spent to make the movie, this is not just a flop but a full blown bomb, luckily they were quick to make up the difference and then some through home media sales and licensing fee's, still doesn't mean it was not a bomb however, and hit is a relative term, Joker has made less than BVS yet Joker is by far a bigger hit than BVS could ever have hoped to be, because Joker has made back over 10x it's production budget, for BVS to be considered as big a hit it would have needed to gross over $2.5B, the fact it failed to make any money theatrically means it wasn't a hit at all, it was however one of the biggest movies of the year, but that's not the same thing, that's just based on ticket sales and gross revenue, but again though BVS made almost $100m more than Deadpool that year Deadpool was the bigger hit, because Deadpool like Joker was a smash hit due to having a lower budget, and BVS yet again to remind you DID NOT TURN A PROFIT THEATRICALLY.
And no I am not changing my tune, Spidey still kicks the shit out of Batman because if you think to include Suicide Squad as a Batman film you have to include Avengers as Spidey films as Spidey plays a far bigger role in those films than Batman does in SS, similarly if you count Catwoman or Joker as Batman films you have to include Venom given that Venom is the first entry into Sony's SPIDER-MAN shared universe, where as Joker & Catwoman are otherwise unconnected movies to the DC universe let alone Batman himself and are simply reskinned other movies using DC & Batman IP to sell the product to the masses, it worked for Joker, it failed for Catwoman.
But IF you were to include SS, & Justice League into the Batman movie franchises by the argument that he is so vital to the backstory and narrative of those movie then you must include ever Avengers movie & Civil War to Iron Man's Box Office total as well as Cap's for all but Infinity War, which put's Cap at like $7.95B also a near full billion higher than Batman's even if you include all the films you want to include to boost his numbers.
See by trying to beat Spidey all you did was turn Batman from No.2 to No.4, well done moron, oh and BTW you fucking plank, you titled this thread "As solo superhero, Batman surpasses Spider-Man once again." it's missing an a btw, if you cant fit a title in fully then rephrase it so you don't sound so challenged shall we say, but back to the point, "As a solo superhero" "Solo" "SOLO" yet to make the claim you must include 2 separate team up movies? that's just fucking stupid, you cannot even title your threads properly on multiple levels you cockwit.
And again let us not forget Batman has achieved these numbers over 50 years and over a dozen *16 to be exact* films, Spidey did so in 17 over 9 or 12 if you include the MCU team ups, whilst Cap accomplished it a bit slower doing so in 29 years and 8 movies but Iron Man managed it in just 12 years over 9 movies, each one of those heroes are more profitable than Batman as their movies average more than double his at the box office, also none of those characters have twice lost money at the box office like Batman has...or wait no that's now three times Bats has failed to turn a profit at the box office, so much for mr profitable I guess.

I pretty much know you're just a kid playing playstation from day to night, okay, but do you ever read the posts? FINAL GROSS = 872,7 MILLION DOLLARS WORLDWIDE HOME VIDEO + TV RIGHTS REVENUES FOR WARNER = 314 MILLION DOLLARS NET PROFIT FOR WARNER = 105.7 MILLION DOLLARS Beyond that, the movie was a massive hit and put Affleck's Batman on the forefront of the superhero world. Iron Man (solo movies) + Captain America (solo movies) + Smash Hulk (solo movies) + Thor (solo movies) + Many Other Characters = AVENGERS 1, 2, 3, 4. Ergo = they are not Iron Man movies. Look kid: it's nobody's fault if Batman is the winner. People have chosen.

You mean the post I made with said information which I highlighted with bold and italic fonts for the actual revenue streams, where it clearly shows WB spent $50M more to make the movie than they made back theatrically, theatrically it was a bomb, just because they made up the money on licensing and home media sales doesn't change that, by that dumb cunt logic no movie is a flop as they all eventually earn their money back.
God I bet your mother & father curse their genitalia's anytime they think about you and the stupidity they birthed into this world.

LMAO FINAL GROSS = 872,7 MILLION DOLLARS WORLDWIDE God I bet you're orphan and just grew up without parents (they abandoned you). That would explain why you insult people who try to make you realize the TRUTH through numbers and facts. You're so angry. Yep kid, maybe your life has been hard, but make up your mind and relax; we're not evil, we're just trying to make you realize the truth. Your hero, Spider-Man, would not like your puerile behaviour at all. And he would recognize Batman's movie power anyway.
