So i looked on the ratings on Batwoman and i see on rotten tomatoes the audience score is at 12% and on IMDB its on 3/10 and on metacritic its on 1.3/10. So i am wondering is it really that bad?

I've watched both episodes so far and I don't think so. I haven't read any of the comics in many years, so I don't know how much they've changed things. I suspect quite a bit and that may be why it's getting such a low rating. I'm enjoying it.

It is a bad show for the most part, but not much worse than most of the CW crap. I say it's a solid 4.5/10.

I don't watch the CW shows any more, but if it's the same crap that made me leave then yeah it's probably that bad.

I didn't have much interest before....definitely didn't when it took such an overt stance on race and gender....almost have morbid curiosity because of how bad the ratings are.

Pennyworth was okay.

The trailer was all style, no substance, so I assume the show is the same.

Ratings for movies and tv, and probably music have become too politicized now, so you really can’t trust them either way. Critics will love it if it’s “diverse”, fans will hate it for that same reason. You just have to watch it and make up your own mind.

Well, the voice-over reading of Alice's note during the last three minutes or so that I caught of Episode 2 was pretty awful.
