I always stay for the credits, even after the lights come up ! Me too -- even when Lady Garth and the Seven Little Garths insist on leaving the theater. Good thing you retain possession of the car keys !

M 65 1/2
NEVADA ROBERT MITCHUM
I’m submitting this answer again in the hope that I’ll be rewarded an advanced point for the next GG. Just joshing, Matt. Thank you for this Game. My day off was plagued with household chores and errands so I was unable to play very long. It was probably for the best. Just scanning the answers makes me realize how shockingly few Gary Cooper movies I have seen. My shame is real. I love these Actor Career Profile Games. Please keep ‘em coming. Still waiting for the Don Knotts edition. Congratulations once again to Romy. You should go on Jeopardy.

Me too -- even when Lady Garth and the Seven Little Garths insist on leaving the theater. Good thing you retain possession of the car keys ! And speaking of car keys, that reminds me -- later today will be the second round of driver education adventure with oldest Garth daughter after her school day is over.
I'm afraid the first attempt last weekend didn't go over so well:
"Now dear, just relax and let's try to remember all the instructions we talked about earlier -- first, check your side view mirror and your rear view mirror to look for any oncoming traffic ... that's right ... and when you are certain that it is all clear, slowly and carefully pull the gear shift down to the letter 'D' ... very good -- that stands for 'Drive,' you know ... it means the car will go forward when you take your foot off the brake and gently apply slight pressure to the acceler ...
DON'T PULL OUT !!!
I'm sorry, dear -- I didn't mean to yell at you and make you cry ... It's just that I didn't want to meet up with that rather large gentleman who's driving the Mack Truck that was bearing down on us back there ... yes, that's him -- the one shaking his fist at us as he drives by -- oh no dear, he's not mad at you ... that's just the special gesture that truckers like to use to say a friendly 'hello' ..."

Super quiz yesterday, Matt - Thank you! That Army rank question was a tricky one, but your hint helped - remade with an Oscar-winning actor - as did reading the writing credits! It's based on a story called " Private Pettigrew's Girl." I always learn something new when I play a Garth Game. Good luck with the driving lessons... Yikes!!!!!

What!!! No questions about Operator 13? (1934) This is sort of an interesting movie for 1934 in which we get to see William Randolph Hearst's girlfriend, Marion Davis.

That would have been Question #13, Kijii -- but then I had to stop at 12.

Dash cam footage of Matt Garth teaching his daughter to drive. That’s right, Matt. It’s best just to keep your head down and not look.

Yep -- they are in rehearsal for Perry's TV show in the mid-1950s. Good find, Tele.
