Faye Dunaway, the leading lady of Hollywood's second golden age (late 60' to early 80's). She was in a ton of great movies, co-starring with all the leading men, and won an Oscar. Why isn't she still a big thing?

I would not call her the leading lady of that period. One of them yes but not the main one
I don`t know why she is not a big thing anymore, it could be that she has not been in many well known movies or it could just be the natural stage of things, i mean many of the stars of the 30`s where not stars in the 60`s, I think part of it is actually age, it should not be the case but sadly it is often for actresses not as much for actors.

She seems very clueless to me. She's almost 80 and still thinks she's stellar. She made three "classics" - "Bonnie & Clyde", "Chinatown" & "Network" and I didn't love any of them. I thought they were okay. I did like "Mommie Dearest" and thought she was fascinating in it.
