This is a movie board, so thatโs probably why there wasnโt any thread for the Watchmen TV show.

I thought it was ok. Hasn't grabbed me yet, but it has potential. I like the idea of setting the events outside of New York (where the original took place), and Rorschach inspiring an alt-right white supremacist cult.
Anyone else think Veidt's servants are genetically engineered science experiments like his cat in the comics?

A lot of people on YouTube arenโt happy about that. They donโt seem to realize that Alan Moore specifically portrayed Rorschach as a right wing extremist who has bigoted views on various groups of people, on top of being a massive hypocrite who gives rapists like the Comedian a pass. They seem convinced that Rorschach was meant to be seen as an uncompromising and badass anti-hero who youโre supposed to admire.

Heavens no, not Rorschach! Yeah, that's not surprising. I've also seen people on the Reddit board theorizing that Ozymandias himself is behind the cult to besmirch Rorschach's name. Any scenario except the one where right-wing extremists follow another right-wing extremist the audience just happens to like.

I agree. I like that it added a little more ambiguity to the cops.
