Capaldi is the one who decided to leave; it doesn't matter how many series he "deserves". He would be the Doctor in series 11 if he had wanted to be. Give what's happened to the show, who can blame him? He has access to the scripts before the rest of us know what they're doing, so he could see the writing on the wall. Any sane person would announce they were quitting the role at the end of the season if they got stuck with "Bill" as their co-star. I feel bad Capaldi's whole era has been squandered by Moffat and his henchmen. It's gotten worse and worse over the last three seasons.

missrhea New MemberI'd like to say that I find Bill rather refreshing. Hmmm. It sounds to me like the BBC told you to sign up on this board to do "damage control" and attempt to "sell" fans on how "good" the ugly lesbian with an afro and a man's name is for the franchise. Unfortunately I doubt it will be successful. The fans loathe "Series 10" and millions of us have tuned OUT after we realized Moffat has ruined Calpadi's run. I truly feel bad for Calpaldi inheriting the role in this climate. He will go down in history as the "Timothy Dalton" of the Doctor Who franchise.

It definitely is, they should change the name of the show to "Bill the Non-Binary Black Gender Queer and a timelord guy man"
