I'm all for it.
"JOKER" is more comic-bookish than what people use to think.

God I hope not. Not every film needs a sequel and Joker works better as a stand alone.
This decision can very well hurt a great film.

I kind of expected this. WB wants Leto out and something to save face and draw people back for future movies. Betcha he'll encounter Robert Pattinson's Batman even if the timeline makes no bloody sense.

Don't do it. Leave it as it is.

Eh, well I guess money means everything now. Money apart, the movie is much more comic-bookish than what people think. A great sequel could be as much powerful as this, from an artistic standpoint.

I mean it could be good. There were sequels to The Godfather and Rocky, which were award-winning masterpieces, and those turned out to be very good as well. GF2 particularly won plenty of Oscars too.

I have not seen any articles about the movie having a sequel in development, so I’m gonna have to call B.S. on this.
Edit: I just found the JoBlo article in question. You know what their source is? We Got This Covered. That confirms that it’s bullshit. There is no sequel in development.
