A big congrats to DC. Let's admit it. the only marvel films that can even contend for this titles would be the Sony and Fox Marvel movies. their best ones. MCU Marvel is just too kiddie to be considered a best. If you have to keep using the word kiddie, it means you are one

Joker follows up the Golden Lion award from the Venice Film Festival with 4 Golden Globe nominations, including Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor - Drama, and Best Director. This further validates Joker as the best CBM of the decade.

Fox was notoriously hit and miss with their cbm's, yes they had great films, Logan is #1 in my book, but they also produced some utter shit as well, usually going good bad good bad good bad, there was like 1 time most will say they produced back to back good films, I say twice because I actually like The Wolverine but I digress, then one time where they did 5 back to back bad ones and by all account they ended on a whimpering guff of a movie in Dark Phoenix.

Even the "less better" ones were honestly good and fun, and further paved the way to the superhero genre. "The Last Stand" and "Origins" come to mind. "Apocalypse" was a very successful masterpiece, and "Dark Phoenix" was just sabotaged --- but many are rediscovering it right now. Come back to the Frog, Dazzy... after the Raccoon, that seems the next logical step for the MCU...

Apocalypse was not a masterpiece it was at best a mediocre movie with one magnificent scene, it wasted the immense talent it had on hand.
Last Stand and Origin are terrible, Last Stand failed to even tells it's own story properly to the point you, the biggest X-Men fanatic on these board doesn't even understand the "main" villain, Origins is a horrendous piece of shit, neither paved the way for anything, their one two combo forced Fox to abandon their plans and do a soft reboot of the series.
DP wasn't sabotaged it was just poorly done by all accounts, even those who "liked" the movie criticised it greatly.
Also Fox produced more than the X-Men you pleb, they made the F4 movies including Fan4stic, Daredevil and Electra none of which are considered good movies, though I admit to having a soft spot for the 2 Alba F4 movies, they aren't "good" but they amuse me.
So quit the bullshit you numpty and stop acting like such a cunt.

Especially for Fox, when they spent the next 8 films trying to erase those "good and fun" films from existence, showing them and other studios what NOT to do. Then they turn around and make the same mistake with Dark Phoenix. Thankfully they had Deadpool and Logan to save them from complete embarrassment. Good thing they threw in the towel when they did. Apocalypse was mediocre at best. Forgotten and dismissed as quickly as it came out as yet another Fox-Men movie offering nothing new with a poorly realized and easy to mock villain, a bored and disinterested cast and messy direction by a barely present director. The only thing to rediscover is how much potential was wasted and how little faith the filmmakers had in the source material. I'll take the Frog over Ivan Ooze any day.

But mature comic fans will take Logan and DOFP, X2, Deadpool over any MCU kids theme park films. I will take a real mature depressed Xavier story line over clown frog tog as that is more mature, making it better. Fox showed you don't have to be rated r to make mature marvel films. MCU continues to fail with their theme park Commerical.

By failing you mean becoming the most successful movie franchise in history in just 10 years, becoming the 10th biggest media franchise in history in just 11 years, breaking box office records hand over fist, becoming the first cbm franchise to produce a best picture nominated movie? imbecile.

Only someone who is trying too hard to be mature, basically someone who is very immature, would say mature equals better. Basically you’re a dumb twat.
