‘Superman and Lois’ Starring Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch in the Works at CWThe CW is developing a series about Superman and Lois Lane starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. The potential series would follow the world’s most famous super hero and comic books’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. “The Flash” showrunner Todd Helbing will write and executive produce, with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns also executive producing. Berlanti Productions will produce in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Berlanti and Helbing are currently under overall deals. The project is based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Hoechlin has previously appeared as The Man of Steel across multiple shows in The CW’s so-called “Arrow”-verse. He has primarily appeared as the character on “Supergirl” but has also popped up in “The Flash,” “Arrow,” and “Legends of Tomorrow. See full article at Variety »So what do you think of this news?

About damn time. Can't say I'm terribly encouraged that the writing will be any good, but here's hoping.

If it happens then great, but hasn't this been the news every year since Tyler first appeared as Superman that they are trying to develop a Superman show for him? Also dunno how much I trust a report that cannot fact check stuff, when was Superman on Legends of Tomorrow? Tyler's wiki and imdb says never, but he will be appearing on Legends next year.
I dunno how much I like the working parents thing sounds way to easy for the CW to screw up truth be told.

Why does Warner let this happen? Why cant it be on hbo max or dc universe. Guess we wont see Metropolis anymore, where Lex and Lois would pair up to solve mysterious cases

It was, kind of like Gotham but with the Superman universe. I was still curious nevertheless and Pennyworth was surprisingly enjoyable

So what do you think of this news?
ISN'T this just a REHASHING of 'Lois and Clark' with some differences?

ISN'T this just a REHASHING of 'Lois and Clark' with some differences? I mean, by that logic, West Side Story is just a rehash of Romeo and Juliet; so why bother? It's not like Lois and Clark was some profoundly original concept, it was based on the comics, just like this proposed show; and just like virtually every comic book movie or series to date.

ISN'T this just a REHASHING of 'Lois and Clark' with some differences? More like an unofficial sequel to it, as S4 ended with them being left with a baby, so this could work as the continuation of that show some 25+ years later.
