I've sort of been off cider since I caught the flu... Didn't drink at all for two weeks.
Been enjoying a drop of various reds lately.
Thinking of branching out, and trying some whites.
Never really drunk white wines... Hit me up with some nice ones to begin with, preferably towards the sweeter end of things?

Moving away from reds to whites should be done via Rose wine, especially if you have a liking for the sweeter wines. Mateus and Zinfandels are a good way to start.

Riesling and Gewurztraminer are nice whites towards the sweet side.
Lidl often sells those grape varieties.

Not a huge fan of whites generally, but I really like Chennin Blancs (preferably on the drier side) and Gewurztraminer. Also, make sure not to inadvertently ask for Chennin Blanc the porn star.

Getting used to wine bottle labelling now...
'Suitable for vegetarians and vegans'... It's fermented grape juice, be a bit odd to add a cow to it.
'Goes great with meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, or enjoy on it's own'... Covered all bases there then.

Sometimes, wines are clarified using milk proteins, egg whites or animal proteins like gelatin. That's the only reason why they wouldn't be vegetarian or vegan.

I bought a 2018 bottle... It's really berry tasting smooth drinking 🤷♀️ Would buy again.
