I've still yet to add whites to my repertoire. Gotta man up and do it.

I started liking whites best then I went red for years. Rarely bothered with whites. Now Iβm preferring whites again.

The Cabernet Sauvignon was a decent lunch.
Taking it easy with the old Liffey Water for the afternoon now.
Looking forward to trying the Merlot for me tea.
Slainte π

Trying a new one for lunch today. A Spanish old vine Garnacha. Vegan friendly, grown by a workers cooperative from 40 year old vines.

I have some Sicilian Rose left over from yesterday. I've got my eye on a Zinfandel Rose to try as my foray in to non-reds... says it's perfect enjoyed outdoors on a warm evening. We'll see π€

I would recommend a Trivento Reserve Malbec from Argentina. Plum and raspberry flavoured. This is my go-to wine when I treat myself. Β£8 plus per bottle but well worth it. There are cheaper Malbecs around, but in comparison they are PLONK. Tescos are usually well-stocked with this gem.

Did somebody say lunch? About to crack open this Argentinean Tempranillo... Another new variety for mesen. Deep red, lively aromas of red fruits. Well balanced, perfect with spicy cuisine... apparently. Apto para veganos y vegeterianos π

Think I can stop saying 'vegan friendly' etc on this thread.
Safe for you just to assume that all the wines I buy are suitable for everyone π

A slightly musty but steady drinkable quality, if that makes sense? Would buy again, but not destined to become a favourite of mine.

Noticed any health benefits from the red wine yet?
In moderation itβs apparently good for the heart.
If I drank too much of it it used to give me a headache.

Noticed any health benefits from the red wine yet? Unlike drinking 20 odd cans of cider a day, I can fart without worrying I'll shit mesen. Not sure if that's a health benefit π€·ββοΈ but it is a social one.
