"Dark Phoenix", despite being butchered by the studio, is a great and entertaining superhero movie. Bad nerd hype and the lack of WOLVERINE (the box office power factor of the franchise) just killed it from a commercial standpoint. Said that, I loved it. They got Cyclops, Phoenix and Nightcrawler right. McAvoy, Fassbender and Hoult were fantastic. There are some genuinely epic scenes here. I think that, within the next 10 years, the movie will be appreciated by fans and casual viewers alike. Hopefully, it will make some serious business in the home video department. I miss the Fox X-Men movies. They were brilliant, bleak and poignant. By the way, this is the X-Men Definitive Timeline:The Deadpool movies, Logan, Legion (series) and The Gifted (series) are three parallel universes; each one featuring an alternate version of the X-Men. The main X-Men universe (X-Men + Wolverine) has been altered via time travel ("Days of Future Past"). X-CONTINUITY x-continuity.blogspot.com There are extensive sections explaining more about incongruences and contradictions in the saga.

1. This is an MCU board. You don't need to post this thread here.
2. My reaction to this thread:

"Dark Phoenix" was "acquired" by Disney anyway.

"Dark Phoenix" was "acquired" by Disney anyway. It's not a good excuse since X-Men: Dark Phoenix is not part of MCU.

I’ve not seen Dark Phoenix yet. I may check it out this weekend. Good. The blu-ray edition features 5 deleted scenes.

Your personal opinion. Debatable.

P.s: Mystique's make-up in DP has been addressed as her best by almost anyone in the world.

Your personal opinion. Debatable. It may well be, but the fact that it has a paltry 23% on RottenTomatoes with 4.63/10 average and 43/100 on Metacritic is not a good look.

Is there some kind of trolling competition going on here that I don't know about? If so, you're on your way to the gold medal. Take this to the lonely X-Men board where you can continue making threads that no one but you responds to.

I'm very sorry to see you're always so weirdly angry towards anyone and anything in the world. Your life must be a sad place to inhabit in. You remind me of Thanos, in truth.

Then I could snap you and thenolan from existence. Not out of anger mind you, but more out of necessity. For the benefit of others.
