Bud, I missed you. You're so fun. I'm very sorry to see you're always so weirdly angry towards anyone and anything in the world. Your life must be a sad place to inhabit in. You remind me of Thanos, in truth. If only I were Thanos. Then I could snap you and thenolan from existence. Not out of anger mind you, but more out of necessity. For the benefit of others. Even Thanos acted for "the benefit of others", and Avengers kicked his ass forever TWICE. LMAO. Poor Bud47.

I’m getting Dark Phoenix tonight from Redbox. Do I need see something previously to follow this movie? Last X movie I saw was Logan. No. The movie just works as a standalone piece too. The X-Men just formed at the very end of "Apocalypse", in 1983: Mystique Beast Cyclops Jean Grey/Phoenix Storm Quicksilver Nightcrawler "Dark Phoenix" is set in 1992, 9 years later.

I finally watched it tonight. I thought it was quite decent really, probably better than Apocalypse. It wasn't great by any means, the action was so so, as was the antagonist and it was disappointing how little Quicksilver was in it...but I liked how dark it was and yeah, don't know why it only got a 20ish percent but I can see why it didn't make as much as the others.

"Dark Phoenix", despite being butchered by the studio, is a great and entertaining superhero movie. Bad nerd hype and the lack of WOLVERINE (the box office power factor of the franchise) just killed it from a commercial standpoint. Said that, I loved it. They got Cyclops, Phoenix and Nightcrawler right. McAvoy, Fassbender and Hoult were fantastic. There are some genuinely epic scenes here. I think that, within the next 10 years, the movie will be appreciated by fans and casual viewers alike. Hopefully, it will make some serious business in the home video department. I miss the Fox X-Men movies. They were brilliant, bleak and poignant. By the way, this is the X-Men Definitive Timeline:The Deadpool movies, Logan, Legion (series) and The Gifted (series) are three parallel universes; each one featuring an alternate version of the X-Men. The main X-Men universe (X-Men + Wolverine) has been altered via time travel ("Days of Future Past"). X-CONTINUITY x-continuity.blogspot.com There are extensive sections explaining more about incongruences and contradictions in the saga. Nobody cares about this crap

If Dark Phoenix is what someone constitutes as a "great movie" then that someone has some really messed up movie standards.
