It was brought up in the suggestion board that the MCU and X-Men boards should be merged together so that there was just a Marvel board. Presumably the DCEU board would be renamed to just DC which it really is anyway because people talk about any DC property over there regardless.
I wanted to get peoples input on this first though because it's you all that use the boards.
So this board is already not exclusive to the MCU movies, we talk about Venom, Into the Spider-Verse, Morbius etc. It's pretty much a Marvel board with the exception of the X-Men movies.
Seeing as X-Men will surely come to the MCU then any X-Men discussion about that would be meant for here anyway which could confuse matters.
The X-Men series as we know it is but all over, with the exception possibly of this New Mutants movie coming out, if that even happens. So that board is just going to dry up from this point too and it isn't particularly active to begin with.
So that's for you to decide with a vote, do you want the boards changed so that there are only the two, a Marvel board and a DC board?

Since I was the one who made the suggestion earlier today, I guess that means I’m obligated to vote here. Anyway, I say yes. I don’t think there’s much of a reason to keep the boards separate at this point. As you said, we’re already discussing Sony Marvel movies that aren’t in the MCU, so there’s not much of a reason for the Fox X-Men films to have their own board, especially now that the X-Men will soon be integrated into the MCU.
That’s just my two cents, though.

I'd say yes, then just rename this board to Marvel. The X-Men forum doesn't get enough traffic and people in this board talk about X-Men stuff anyway.

If they were merged I might not know the difference. This is the de facto Marvel and overall comics board/superhero film board to me. I came for the MCU but I stay for everything else.
What keeps me from the DCEU board is just that, it's only the extended universe board. Which means a handful of about 7 movies, a few of which I think are the worst of the genre, a couple that are passable and one slam dunk. If it were a DC board and not a DCEU board it might be a different story. As it stands, if there's a DC related discussion going on, I'd just as soon have it here. Here or the Film General board.
Consider me unopposed. I voted too so there's that.

Actually, people discuss pretty much all things DC on the DC board. There are a bunch of threads about the Joker movie over there.
