I use AdBlockPlus with Chrome on my Windows pc, and though it sometimes means I can't visit certain websites without turning it "off" (which I pretty much never do), I've noticed it interacting very strangely with my Hulu service lately. At first, whenever commercials would start to play on some 'archived' tv show or movies on Hulu, a message would pop up saying I should click on the green button that appears on the screen, to allow the commercials to play.....however, if I simply waited for the commercials to finish "playing" (while my screen remained 'blank'), the show or movie would simply start playing again, exactly where it left off, as soon as the commercials ended. However, lately, and for whatever reason, NOW the commercials will SOMETIMES (but not always) play, even though I have never clicked on the button to turn off my adblocker while using Hulu. Any idea why commercials SOMETIMES play while streaming Hulu, even with my adblocker on, and other times will not play, even though I've never done anything different while watching it ?? SAVE FERRIS

uBlock Origin (by Raymond Hill) is what I would suggest for a ad-blocker in general. it's supposedly at least as good as AdblockPlus etc but lighter on resources. with that said... I imagine you can probably do some searches online to see if anyone else has that specific problem. but I would see how it works with uBlock Origin first. NOTE: I suggest removing any ADBlockPlus etc types of extensions first before loading up uBlock Origin.
