I would actually love MCU movies if they are classified more as animation. LMAO, proper and legit observation.

I would actually love MCU movies if they are classified more as animation. I assume because of the amount of VFX. So what is the threshold for VFX making a film an "animation". How many shots?

If you don`t like them, than you know you could just not watch them.
I know a crazy idea.

Endgame is an animation, Avatar is a VFX matserpice to Endgame. Doesn't James Cameron hate Avengers? If Endgame was like Avatar Cameron would sing its praises. He has done that with many movies. Please don't think like Scorsese he is jealous, that would be laughable for MCU fans.

Cameron actually CONGRATULATED Endgame and even voiced some support for it, so yeah, one could say that Scorsese is jealous.

Scorsese is just jealous that MCU movies is seen in 1000 theaters, while his film, The Irishman, was shown in limited theaters and Netflix. And I saw The Irishman, very good movie I might add.

Yeah, unfortunately, Netflix doesn't have a very good relationship with cinema chains. It's quite likely that Chadwick Boseman is right about the whole situation - Scorsese is saying these things because his film is not very likely to do well at the Oscar ceremony this year because of the whole Netflix thing.

Well, he's a beloved figure in the Oscar lore, so his film could do potentially better than Roma last year.

Honestly, I'm starting to like this unpredictability that we have this year. There are so many good films from both blockbuster AND "art house" fronts.

Right there Scorsese is wrong about MCU and cinema as a whole. Yes, people flock to see MCU and blockbuster films, but also art house films too, if you pay attention to those per theater avg. at the box office. And I'm so glad the Oscars are starting to pay attention to blockbusters more often. In the past few years, we've seen Mad Max: Fury Road, Get Out, and Black Panther get Best Picture recognition. Perhaps Joker can be this year's blockbuster?

Also, I would place Dunkirk in place of Get Out since the latter is actually a low-budget film. Also, in 2015, The Martian also got the Best Picture nomination.

It’s not too late to incarcerate Bucky and Rogers.
