I recently bought this .So here it is .The practical Blu ray 3D player i great .The B.p. 550 is small and sleek Noiseless. How is the 3D? well i attached my color code converter on it for my none 3dt.v and the 3D was excellent ,in color code that is, dark amber and Dark blue glasses .Sharp ,very sharp. tried my plastic and card board glasses on this good ,too. How do you change a region?well, all you have to do is to shut it off and press 1 to,2,or 3 for the region change .It will flash and turn itself back on .Do the same thing when going back.Although in my player it did not flash ,but as soon as I turned on my player it was on the second region and it worked .I got it back on the main region after word.This is excellent if you love foreign movies,but slowly 0 region and a.b.c region free Blu ray is becoming more popular internationally.This would not have to be is distributors of home video in the u.s.a were not greedy and selfish against consumer ,since the Jimmy Carter legacy- deregulation, not putting out in this country enough variety in foreign classic ,especially third Reich cinema and Communist Russia regime cinema classics or even communist classic of china or even more french classic of the 30's to fifties.Tino Rossi to Louis Mariano classic?American import region 1? Forget it .The main American companies are selfish and greedy,but will deny this .The tray opens and closes very smoothly.It also automatically takes all regions DVD too .It is a reasonable price too .Good if have a foreign travel job.
