Nope...second episode was great. Reminded me of Lone Wolf & Cub/Babycart I don't care about where the Jawas are or are from. More bothered that the series features The Force...one element of Star Wars I find pretty dull (I also gradually over the movies began to hate Yoda...but this baby Yoda seems quite bearable) I think the Force itself isn't what's important. It's that he has it. This is a time after Palpatine and Vader and the Empire might be looking for a replacement that they can possibly control. And if they can't have it, no one else can (bring it there or kill it).

That's all that's related to him and his story, yes.
I wouldn't want to know everything by episode two. I'd want to know enough to invest me in the story. Otherwise what's the point of watching? "Tune in for the exciting adventures of a person you don't know or care anything about" doesn't cut it for me.
You're trying to twist what I'm saying. I didn't say that seeing his face was the only important thing, yes? And you know that. So please don't act as though I did say that.
And yes, all things being equal I could empathise and identify with a head in a jar more than a head in a helmet in a jar, say. Just as I can empathise more with a guy walking around that I can see the face of more than I can empathise with a guy walking around that I can't.
But hey, it is starting to get better.

Now the third episode was an improvement. Got us what's probably the first real character moment for the protagonist in the series so far. Honestly the first three eps should have been cut together as the premiere episode of the series. But I guess you get more subscribers if you spin it out. I was thinking that about them putting the episodes together. But at the same time, I think they might have a time limit for the episodes.

Don't know what the time limit could be. They can make stuff as long or short as they like.

You do know enough about him to be invested in him as of the 1st episode. In the 1st episode alone we learn that this is a guy that sympathizes with a lone kid because of his own past. I mean, the contract was to bring it back dead or alive. Why should he care if it was brought back dead?
No, you keep saying you need to see his face to identify and empathize with him. The part that gets me is how you can discuss things on the internet. You can only read my words. You can't see any of our faces to know our emotions with the words we are saying.

But they might have their own limit to how long or short those episodes are.

I think Sandcrawlers are old tech that was used to haul droids during manufacturing during the clone wars. That was one of the dumb things about Phantom Menace as the ships carrying droids was fancier. I looked it up and apparently sandcrawlers were left behind by mining guilds when whatever they were mining dried up or failed but what are the odds that 2 of the exact same sandcrawler ended up on 2 different planets only to be taken over by Jawas. One if the things that often annoys me about Star Wars is the notion of most non-human races seem to be a particular occupation. Can we get a Jawa that builds starships? I assumed that there were scores of Jawas in different regions of Tattoine and all of them had Sandcrawlers. This is just them branching out much like humans will go where the money is. Also these Jawas have red eyes. Don’t the Tattoine ones have yellow eyes?

Every episode has been better than the last and this might be the best Star Wars property ever made.

This show has such quirky pacing.
It basically is action, dialogue, big action scene.
It’s so predictable in structure but I love what they do within that structure.

It's all been pretty rubbish so far. I'll repost my thoughts on the episodes so far, which I've written elsewhere:
Ep. 1:
Ep. 2:
Ep. 3:
Haven't bothered with the 4th episode yet. Might watch it tonight, but it might also slip my mind entirely the way it's been doing this whole weekend. I'm more interested in the new Rick and Morty episode anyways, so maybe that first.

It is 100% the best Star Wars show. It is also written and acted better than any of the prequels or new films. Maybe Empire or some of the original trilogy is better, but I am beyond impressed. I did not find episode four to be as solid as the rest, but it was still great and the characters on this show are excellent.

The show is very well done and I like the slower burn through the story. I think it is the best Star Wars property since the original trilogy.
