Given his track record, it seems almost certain that they will win something in the next season or so which would have been Levy's main reason for appointing him. I presume that a sizeable transfer budget has been agreed. Who will he bring in? An out and out winger is a must. Bale or Sancho? and a couple of full-backs.

If I was Bale, I would stay well away from Spain, after he celebrated with this flag last night...

He's not boring once it starts to go wrong. I can't wait to see his misery take hold once again! Who will be first to be thrown into the wilderness for negating their defensive obligations? 😆 It's going to be great!

Used to watch him play week in week out for Forest Green, when we was non-League. Lads done good, scoring for Wales now. Can we have him back? Whilst we're here, can we have Christian Doidge back from Hibs. We let him go there, and he's banging in hat tricks in the SPL.

Ah come on now. He wins trophies. Lots of trophies. His dugout antics and press conferences can be epic entertainment.

His dugout antics and press conferences can be epic entertainment. This hasn’t been true in over a decade, not since his first stint at Chelsea was over.

Sorry, just seem he got the job with unseemly haste. Obviously tapped up before Poch went. Classy.

No. There's video of it happening. RM ultras will lynch his ass. No chance. The security is quite tight at those Spanish Golf Clubs...

Jose's three year plan for Spuds...
YEAR 1: buy the bus
YEAR 2: park the bus
YEAR 3: throw everyone under the bus

Golf. Madrid. In that order," it read.Never a message likely to be well received in the Spanish capital, Bale was photographed laughing, situated front and centre behind the flag.

I think his hat trick the other day was the first time he’d scored any goals in the league.
