When I first saw TFA I noticed unlike the prequels and original SW the visuals are just plain dull. Sure the prequels haven't held up real well but for their time they were pretty awesome.
Another thing JJ Abrams made the Star Trek reboot (great visuals 8 years later) I find that to be problem for SW fans.

Only if you make it a problem, I suppose.

Huge problem. Best to boycott the film and get everyone you know personally to call off work and protest the film outside your local movie theater.

The visual effects are the only things I don't complain about with TFA.

I at least appreciated that the second teaser was a major improvement over the first. The same for TFA's official trailer. It looked better and better. Film still sucked though.

I thought the marketing for TFA was very, very strong and went in with high hopes for the flick.

I didn't know how good I had it. LOL, my stupid ass actually expected a decent character. *taps my nose and winks* Fool me once, Disney...

I hoped he would be an interesting, serious, morally gray character on a cool journey worth watching. Instead we got a one-note, wise-ass sidekick goofball jagoff.

In light of Disney's previous shenanigans, I'm going to assume that shot of Finn in a coma will be his most dignified moment in the movie.

I was hoping for something like Kyle Reese from Terminator combined with moments of panic and heavy breathing from feeling overwhelmed. What I got instead of Jar Jar-Lite meets Kunta Kinte.

Kyle Reese never occurred to me for whatever reason, but now that you mention it a slightly modified version of that is exactly the tone the character should've taken.
