So I was gone on a trip Friday and Saturday and caught up over the weekend, but I apparently missed Thursday's episode in the catch-up; and the kick is that this show is so redundant and drawn out, I didn't eve notice until I went to watch today's episode (Nov 27th) and one the relatively significant detail from the Nov 21st episode came up, which was Jennifer learning about Adrienne's death.
When the scene started, I literally thought, "Jesus, she's still in the hospital? We haven't seen her in ages, and she hasn't even learned about Adrienne yet!"
And then she starts apologizing to Kayla about her behavior "yesterday" - and I'm like, yesterday? She wasn't in the episode yesterday; and I couldn't remember the last time Jennifer was actually on, but it'd been at least a week, or as it would turn out, six days....
It's a little weird jumping back to catch some of what I missed; which of course, wasn't much, which goes to show how unnecessary some of the episodes are. Like, I missed the whole part of Sarah informing both Maggie and Eric about Mickey's kidnapping, and do you think it affected the episodes I saw where they were just in the know and helping each other work through the ordeal? Nope.
Was I confused by only seeing Clyde send Xander a demand for a confession in one episode and in the next writing said confession after a few additional reminders of the demand; and wonder, "wouldn't he call Victor down to discuss this demand and possibly implicate themselves in a crime they needed to confess?
Nope.
Pretty much could have guessed Xander was guilty for something; and if I wasn't, his writing out a confession sealed the deal; his confab with Victor only confirmed what I already worked out based on context of other scenes I saw.
And I'm calling it now, it's pure speculation, but I'm going to guess that it's going to turn out that Xander is the one responsible for Adrienne's death and Victor helped keep him out of jail and either intentionally or inadvertently framed Will to take the fall. It would be too straight forward for Ciara and Ben to actually be right that it was Xander who killed Jordan; and they'll have some other twist who her real killer is.
And then there were other little nuggets, like Kayla and Jack's talks about Steve - I'm thinking the rumors are true and it'll turn out that
And then Eric having the ring and telling Roman he planned to propose to Nicole; which there again, the scene of his proposal actually arguably worked better without the advanced knowledge that he had the ring and planned to propose. He started talking about how he and Nicole had talked about it and that the time never seemed right, only to pull out the ring; and I think it had a better impact not knowing he had a ring on him, because it seemed a little more spontaneous without having it all spelled out for me.

he's been brainwashed to think he's Stefano. Which is incredibly stupid.
