Whoever engraved the names on the memorial wall was so stupid that the names aren't even in alphabetical order. So how the fuck does Scott Lang even know which section of the wall to look for Cassie's name? Makes no sense at all. Well firstly not all memorial walls are listed alphabetically - the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is ordered by date of death for example Secondly not all the L's will appear on one slab. They would be grouped together as and when the authorities have had "missing" confirmed by probably friends and relatives - all the missing are not going to be confirmed at the same time. You see Lang look through two slabs of "L" names You also see him look at D's which are printed on the other side of the L slabs. You don't see him search many other slabs because there are this many and it would eat up so much screentime ....you don't see Lang looking at EVERY slab with L on it just the ones leading to the discovery of his name while looking for Cassie. Simple really. I think that was quite decent of me to explain so quickly...seeing as we yet to have an explanation for The Magic Boat and The Sahara Ocean. Half of the wordwide population has disappeared. There are too few "slabs" on there, that's for sure. I mean, half of the worldwide population is a H-U-G-E number. Scott should spend at least 3 days to see if Cassie is on there, LOL.

Which is still a HUGE NUMBER. Well, but we're talking about movies where billions of people suddenly reappered after 5 years, and they just go to school like anything happened (Homecoming) LOL.

Umm, Homecoming came out before Infinity War.

How do we know that’s for all the people that disappeared and not just the people from the area? People from that city. Which is still a HUGE NUMBER. Yep, Scott Lang lives in San Francisco. The population is over 800,000 just in the city. So that's over 400,000 names just for the city. And if they include the rest of the Bay Area, then the population is over 7 million. So that's over 3.5 million names for the Bay Area.

What about the people from there, but wasn't home and couldn't get back or unable to call home before they made the memorials? And you do know that the snap doesn't recognize man-made borders correct? It wouldn't have to be half the people in San Francisco. Only 417 could have vanished from there.

By the way the half of the population thing is for the entire universe.
Plus it's random meaning that not every is going lose half it's population.

Well, Natasha does say that half of life on Earth has been snapped away. Yeah I screw up with what I originally meant to say. What I was originally trying to say is that not every city on Earth is guaranteed to have it's population cut in half.

And that still doesn't answer the question of why the fuck would someone create a memorial wall with the names not in alphabetical order? Memorial walls are either in alphabetical order or by date of death. All those people were snapped out on the same date so why the fuck were the names just randomly engraved on the wall instead of in alphabetical order? Makes no sense at all. The names on the memorial for the victims of 9/11 are not in alphabetical order either. Why are you dissing the memorial for that tragic event? Have you no shame?

I know you're a moron, but even you can't be this stupid... Oh wait, yes you can. Anyways, the names are in alphabetical order, by last names, which lists do all the time. So how about you get your head out of your ass.

No they were not random They were in groups of each letter, but not alphabetical within that group So wrong again...unless you have no idea what "random" means

No, the names on the memorial wall weren't in alphabetical order by last name or first name. They're just in random order. No they were not random They were in groups of each letter, but not alphabetical within that group "not alpabetical". So you've just agreed that it was random. Since you don't understand what random means, I'll explain it to you: If it's not random, then someone can expext too find all the last names starting with LAZ between those starting with LAN and LON, just like in a telephone directory. But that's not the case on the memorial wall. The LAZ names are just randomly put on the wall in a random order, making it effectively impossible for anyone to find a specific name and this Scott Lang shouldn't have been able to find his wife and daughter on the wall. Becuase trying to find a name on the wall is like trying to look for an LAZ name in the phone directory and opening the page that starts with LAN names and ending with LON names and expecting all the LAZ names to be on that page, but instead they put some LAZ names on a previous or next page. Makes no sense at all. Like much of MCU movies. Like why is Robert Redford there in New York trying to take possession of the tesseract from Thor when just minutes earlier Redford had ordered a nuclear strike over New York. Wouldn't he try to get as far away from the blast radius as possible? Just another example of bad writing in MCU movies.

Because they needed him to escape so they could set up a Disney + show with loki and get more $$$ from gullable audiences. Who gives a damn about story structure right? As long as people yell omg loki is coming back on streaming here take my moneyssss
