I’ll give it a 7 as well. 7.5 is my actual rating though.

1) I feel that this is one of the best examples of a feminist movie, because it's not made obvious. In order to save their kingdom, the princess and the queen travel without any soldiers. They do all the diplomatic talk themselves and they do all the hard physical work themselves. And there's never a single moment where a character tells them "That's improper behavior for royalty" or "You'll need a man" only for them to go against it. 2) There are 5 spirits based on the elements: Fire, water, earth and wind. The 5th one is a mystery revealed at the end: It's ELSA herself. What?! But ice is part of water. Shouldn't it be thunder? I'd even accept heart (like CAPTAIN PLANET). If they're including sub-elements, why not plant, which is part of earth? Actually, many fictional stories omit fire since it's not considered a truly natural element. 3) Do you remember that were people who interpreted LET IT GO as a "coming out" song? I didn't see it that way. Here, the lyrics for SHOW YOURSELF did give me that impression. In fact, ELSA was looking for a female singing voice, so I thought she would get a new love interest. It didn't happen though. What a tease.
