the more of it i watch the more i am inclined to say No. this would just not get produced again the way it was.
i wonder if people naturally crave crude comedy at someones expense (because it makes them feel less inadequate?) or if its a societal construct that for some reason we accepted.
or... it doesnt matter at all as long as its “funny”. but funny is so subjective...

Comedy isn't as funny at someone else's expense though. People usually laugh the loudest at things they can relate to themselves. Unless the comedy isn't comedy and is just straight-out insulting. The problem is a lot of "jokes" these days don't really have a punchline.
