3 days after Batman has died so they can hold the funeral and Joker can weep on his grave before ending his own existence alongside his souldmate...then reveal Batman is still alive and this was his plan to get Joker to kill himself to rid the world of Joker without having to kill him himself, but then turns out HA! It's a joke on Bats because Joker never fell for it and it's all just another number in their eternal dance of mayhem.
That or I dunno 69 heheh 69.
