I don't know if this was an old event that was being replayed but last week on Impact on AXS TV the entire show was an homage to 1980's regional wrestling shows. It was actually quite well done and made me long for those days of professional wrestling. The whole cast did a good job of capturing the feel that wrestling had back then.

The whole show was a recreation of a fictional regional wrestling show down to the logos, small audience venue, costumes, characters, promos, and interviews.

Did it remind you of a particular territory? And which territory did you grow up watching?

Did it remind you of a particular territory? And which territory did you grow up watching? It was sort of a conglomeration. I grew up in the northeast so I was in WWF territory but I did get to travel around some and see some of the other companies that were out there, mostly in the south (Texas, Tennessee and Florida).
I think they were actually portraying themselves as a Canadian company.

oh yeah I grew up in wwf territory also. I would’ve given anything to be able to go to the Omni, the bayfront center, the mid south coliseum, greensboro or any of the other big shows in other areas

To me NWA Power was the closest thing we had to 80's studio wrestling before the demise of the territory days.
It was fun while it lasted.
