Considering there was zero evidence of a relationship between them in the other two movies, it would have been really bizarre and out of place for this to pop up in the 3rd movie. Hell, the whole Rose loving Finn thing was fucking weird, especially since the first thing on Finn's mind after waking up is Rey.

Why do SJWs care so much? "It's only a kids movie about space wizards." Right?

Hell, the whole Rose loving Finn thing was fucking weird, especially since the first thing on Finn's mind after waking up is Rey. A lot of the development of that was cut from the movie. It's still in the novelization and I was sad to see it cut from the film. I think at least 20 minutes could have been cut from the Canto Bight sequence to allow for more of Rey's training with Luke and the Finn/Rose thing.

I definitely would have liked to have seen more Luke/Rey. I don't care about the Finn and Rose relationship. I don't like Rose and barely care about Finn. I'm not a TLJ hater, but that movie killed any momentum TFA had. People don't care about Rey, Finn, or Poe and that's mostly because of TLJ. I don't even know what this series is about after that movie - and I'm worried this last movie will continue that. "Will Rey turn, Will Kylo be redeemed..." What basis is there for any of that? Who actually wants to see that. Flipping the good guy and bad guy in the 3rd movie of a trilogy? That just sounds awful.

Why do SJWs care so much? "It's only a kids movie about space wizards." Right? Because they are weak people who need near constant affirmation.
I said this on social media in a comments section of an article that announced this news:
Most people who liked it agreed with me, but a few dorks commented, "I don't know what you're watching. Star Was has always been a commentary." LOL, shut up. "Dictatorships are bad" isn't politics, it's a simplistic plot device. It's how we write for children because they can't understand more complicated things.
