And Kathleen Kennedy is a producer on both, so... Luckily, Iger didn't let useless Kathleen sabotage The Mandalorian the way she sabotaged everything else.

For starters, she hired the worthless Lucasfilm Story Group of fanfic bloggers who have sabotaged every Disney SW movie with their utter stupidity and lack of SW knowledge. starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Lucasfilm_Story_Group

And Kathleen Kennedy is a producer on both, so... Luckily, Iger didn't let useless Kathleen sabotage The Mandalorian the way she sabotaged everything else. Exactly right. Anyone who thinks that Kathleen Kennedy has been equally “hands on” with all of Disney SW hasn’t been paying attention. She has been more involved in the episodic movies. It’s no coincidence that she co-produced TFA and TLJ with the guys who also were the directors. But she also gave them the writing duties. That’s because she had her fingerprints all over all 3 phases. In the anthologies (Rogue One and Solo) she used writers who brought scripts to separate directors. But afterwards got more involved with reshoots done because of “creative differences” with the initial directors. And on The Mandalorian she is executive producer. Very “hands off”. Most of the influence has been coming from Favreau (the show creator), followed by Filoni and Chow.

They can fully produce a full episode in 24 hours or less, so...yeah, it's still on.
