Honest question. There is a forum here for politics. If you want to talk politics, go there. Why can't movies be about movies, books be about books, sports be about sports, etc? It's so tiring to see the leftists here interject politics in almost every thread no matter how apolitical the thread is. So, why do you leftists, liberals, progressives have to interject politics into everything?

Do you not want to talk about those social aspects in those types of art?

Can't say I've noticed it here that much. Only time I can think of is the Colin Kaepernick stuff and, let's face it, that's more about politics than sport. Fr Jack has pulled back on his pro-IRA stuff so I just don't see it.
And I don't think it's limited to lefties, there's plenty of cons here who will go on about SJWs with no prompting.

Go clutch your pearls somewhere else. You only see what you want to see.

Anybody here see Knives Out? That movie was a lot of fun! A bit cheeky but a good time at the movies nonetheless. As good a cast as you'll find this year with Daniel Craig having a blast playing the role of the detective extraordinaire.

I’ll probably have to wait for it to be on dvd or Netflix but it looks good.

I used to rewind her boob shot in Trading Places on a VHS tape as a kid. . . . who am I kidding - I still do.

I never saw Murder by Death so I can't say. Honestly, I haven't seen Clue in so many years, definitely due for a rewatch.

Creepshow II - the episode entitled 'The Raft' was my go to for some boobage on VHS as a kid - being horror fans - Father Jack and masterofallgoons probably have an idea of what I'm talking about.

How dare you exclude me from that list! I ran into Fritz Weaver, of "The Crate" fame, at an off Broadway show while sitting in the crowd and he was ecstatic that someone recognized him. Creepshow 1 is great, although it's definitely dated. The Raft is the highlight of Creepshow 2, kinda by far. Still, a fun group of vignettes.

Seen the TV show yet? I don't regard part III as a Creepshow movie as I hold 1&2 close to my heart. Here's the definitive ranking order - 1. The Crate 2. Something To Tide You Over 3. Father's Day 4. The Raft 5. Old Chief Wood'nhead 6. The Hitchhiker 7. The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill 8. They're Creeping Up On You I saw the first episode of the TV show - 1st short story was one I read by King eons ago - think it was called Grey Matter which was in one of his short story books - may have been Skeleton Crew (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

So, why do you leftists, liberals, progressives have to interject politics into everything? Why are Trump supporters such snowflakes? I made one comment and you flew off the handle. You specifically called me names and I just casually replied to you because I'm not here to debate politics even if I make a few comments now and then. My father is a Trump supporter; I work with several Trump supporters. It's just an observation I made, it's not like I'm calling you evil. I've seen you make plenty of politically charged comments on this board and I've never gotten on your case about it.
