I'm terrible when it comes to ANY kind of artwork, making/building things (with wood, metal, plastic, cloth, etc.), or just about anything that involves creativity and/or working from 'scratch' to build something from the ground up (however, probably because I am SO useless at building/making things from "nothing", I particularly LOVE assembling any sets or kits that come with all of the prefabricated parts, hardware and (most importantly!) the 'plans' that detail how to actually put it together.....for instance, home entertainment cabinets, book or media shelving units, computer desks, etc., etc.). Other than simple 'repairs' around the house, it's the only time I ever get to use any of the tools I own <insert Tim Allen "man-grunt", here!> !! That said, what is one of the best things you've ever painted/sculpted/sewn/crafted or built from scratch by yourself ?? SAVE FERRIS

I did a bit of cartooning and writing/drawing comics in the 1980s and 1990s. Didn’t make much money though but more recently I’ve been drawing things like this...

I've finished about 300 acrylic portrait paintings including landscapes and skylines. I have strove to define my own style and it has been a very rewarding and interesting experience. I've also done many charcoal pencil sketches, mostly of portraiture. My paintings are on jesso'ed formica boards and set with a fixative.

Nothing tangible. There is a 30-second movie I made with a friend a few years ago that I am proud of. It was for a contest, and we won.
