Yes! He should only do Tenacious D, and stick to that. Your music needs you, Jack Black. Movies, blech, you don't want to be onscreen anymore, blech, yuck, patooey! yay, Yay, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unless he gets interesting roles it really seems like a great possibility.

I saw a news item on him some years ago-an interview which attached him to a documentary about a comedian who ruined his big break Tonight Show appearance. The guy was named Randy something. His routine was so-so-he did impressions of Reagan, and then Ed McMahon. Then he did Johnny Carson and the audience gave a disapproving response and Carson thanked him but was visibly annoyed. The comedian later said the goal was to get invited to sit down and he was not and he was discussing how he blew his big chance by doing a no-no--making fun of the host. Not sure why Jack Black was an authority on this comedian or subject.

If he wanted to retire or take a break from acting to focus on music, his family, and/or Youtube channel it's his choice.

He's not the first actor to say that, and won't be the last.

That's what they all say. The only actor I know of who retired and actually stuck with it is Sean Connery.
