Catman avoids that because at his age, he'd probably break a hip.

I am pretty sure I have slipped on ice and fallen in the past, probably on more than one occasion, but never with any serious consequence, fortunately.

i actually have and it really sucks. Did you do it in front of a girl you liked? Like right in front of her? I did, when I was a kid. That makes it suck more.

A few times but the only damage has been a small piece of bone chipped off my elbow while ice skating.

Twice in the last ten years. At the first time I hurt my arm and hand and I was on a sick leave for a week. On the second time I only got cuts on my face. I had a bloody and bruised face when I got to work and my boss asked if I had been in a fight.

Yes. When learning to ice skate, it's gonna happen. Plenty of times.
A couple of years ago I stepped out of my side garage door without knowing there was ice on the porch. My forward foot slipped and I did an unexpected split. Ouch! It took me a couple of minutes to stand up.

Used to do that more often than I should when I lived in Chicago. One time I slipped and I remember my feet was higher than my head and landed on my back. I got the wind knocked out of me. That was scary I tried to breathe but I couldn't get the rhythm going. So I just lied there hoping somebody would find me. Finally I got my breathing going.
