Eight times. Seen Springsteen twice. Have to admit, he put on a show. No lasers, no flying pigs, no explosions. He played for three hours plus. He kept turning to Miami Steve or Clarence and ask "have they had enough?" and Van Zandt would answer, "Hell no". and they were good for another three songs Seen the Grateful Dead three times. I'm no Deadhead but they put on a great show

I saw the Grateful Dead 48 times, was on my way to 50 when Jerry kicked the bucket.
I've seen Neil Young in various configurations about 20 times.
I've seen CSN and occasionally Y about 5-7 times.
Bands and artists I've seen 2-3 times include Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Rush, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Willie Nelson, Roger Waters, Allman Brothers, Todd Rundgren.

Either Nick Cave or Marc Almond OBE I think NC maybe one or two times more. But I haven't seen him since a Grinderman concert in late 2010. I don't like the larger venues he has been playing and I preferred MA with his regular backing musicians Willing Sinners and La Magia some years ago. I get the impression most gigs are a different experience now. Online booking and registration hassles, health and safety nonsense, phone cameras in your face. So, trying to remember, I think it's NC 7 times (once with Grinderman) and MA 6. I can't think of any artist I'd buy tickets to see nowadays to be honest. I have been tempted over the past couple of years by Roland Gift and Andrew Roachford both of whom did quite smallish venue gigs, and I wish I'd gone now. For me the size of the venue is an enormous factor. Pub gigs, though, are a different animal altogether.

In terms of big rock acts, I've seen Deep Purple and Luis Alberto Spinetta three times each. I've seen a couple others like Soda Stereo, Los Natas, Damo Suzuki or Flaming Lips twice as well. But of all the professional acts I've seen live several times, I'm pretty sure the ones I've seen the most often are jazz acts: the likes of Pepi Taveira, Pipi Piazzolla in several formats, Ernesto Jodos, Esteban Sehinkman and so on. Also I've seen Steve Reich live twice (Drumming at the San Martín Theatre and Music for 18 Musicians at the Teatro Colón) and have seen a few Ligeti concerts by several different ensembles.
Fun fact, I've also got Robert Fripp shows *cancelled* in three different instances, before I was finally able to see him for the first time with King Crimson just two months ago. So he would have possibly been my most viewed, though then again there's the chance I wouldn't have gone seen him four times either.

Iron Maiden 4 or 5 times. Seeing them just once is on my bucket list, but I fear they'll never come to my neck of the woods.

The Hummingbirds, my friendly-neighbourhood-indie-pop-band about 10 times back in the day. Otherwise, think I've seen the Ramones, Ride and Mudhoney 3 times, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Pavement and Boris twice.

I saw George Thorogood play small venues in the late 80s, before he became famous. In fact, he opened for local acts. He'd come out in t-shirt and jeans, hefting a vintage Gibson with P90s. He was an absolutely amazing raw power. He became quite polished and lost appeal.
Never saw Springsteen but I heard him in '77. I'd just finished my last exam of the semester, knew I'd aced it, and headed for my car in the parking lot. The Boss was playing the gym and I lay on the hood of my car and enjoyed the "show".

I’ve seen Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, and the Black Cowes three times each. Twice for The Rolling Stones. Technically I saw Yngwie Malmsteen twice but he happened to open for two different headliners I’ve seen.
