Everyone knows Mariah Carey, The Pogues, Band Aid, and the theme tune to The Snowman. Post something for the Yuletide season that's lesser known or on the unusual side.
It's the theme tune to The Snowman.... with ragga jungle.

Two fairly 'traditional' choices in Argentina that likely differ from the rest of the world. First, for a Pogues/Punk X-Mas type vibe, there's Sumo's take on "Silent Night":
That's alright, I like it. But much more interesting is the alternative, I think, which is to focus on folk takes of the Nativity, such as with Ariel Ramirez's Misa Criolla:

I discovered this one a while ago. It might be a bit too relatable in a bad way for some folks but I found it funny.

I bloody love that Shitmat album, it's really over the top and stupid in a brilliant way. The use of Windsor Davies is an absolute joy, which is a statement you don't hear often.
I'm going to have to go old school, one for the northern soul crowd:
Or for those about to rock:

H.P. Lovecraft's "The Shadow over Innsmouth" retold to the tune of The First Noel.
The bald concierge so loudly did croak, "We do not take kindly to no city folk!"

The Sleighs - It's Gonna Be a Kickass Christmas
First heard the song on the CBS drama "Scorpion". This was before I had Siri at my disposal. So, I had to search long and hard to find it.
Plus, Bad Religion did a whole album of punk versions of Christmas songs. It included:
Hark The Herald Angels Sing White Christmas God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Joker's Wilde

A decade ago this probably would be considered an alternative Christmas song. Now you can't avoid it every year on the radio. Great track as well.

80s/90s Goth giants and ex-Sisters Of Mercy members The Mission as their alter egos Metal Gurus with their cover of the Slade classic. It was an idea that they only did one year but it certainly provided some good times when they would turn up to play "surprise" support slots playing glam classics

I don't thank you for the reminder.
