It appears the sequel will have a Western setting and a corrupt U.S. senator as the key villain. Hard to believe A Game of Shadows was almost a decade ago.

Looking forward to it. I enjoyed the first two films.

Sounds like I'll enjoy it as much as the first two.

Sherlock doesn't exactly have an impressive rogues gallery. He only has Moriarty.

I hated the second one so much, I can't imagine I would be interested especially after a ten year hiatus.

Sherlock doesn't exactly have an impressive rogues gallery. He only has Moriarty. Sure he does. Great Holmes villains other than the canonically phantasmic Moriarty, with spoilers: Col. Sebastian Moran (“the second most dangerous man in London”) Charles Augustus Milverton (“the king of blackmailers”) John Clay/Vincent Spaulding (who thinks he’s an aristocrat and won’t let a “lower-class” policeman touch him when he’s being arrested) Dr. Grimesby Roylott (“when a doctor goes wrong he is the first of criminals”) Baron Adelbert Gruner (sadistic wife-murderer) Not to mention the Baskerville Hound and the KKK, among others.
