How about just listen to the music and don't look at the singers? I must admit I pay zero attention and give zero fucks about what any singers (female or otherwise) wear when I'm listening to them... maybe if they came on stage nude or something.

In a lot of those makeup/no-makeup images the greater effect comes from angles, lighting, and image editing more than makeup.
