EPL Match Prediction Tourney - Round 22 Table

With the FA Cup 4th round ties set for 24-27 January, there is a double whammy of full EPL cards before that, commencing on the 18th Jan and concluding on the 23rd. And once the FA Cup 4th round is over, West Ham's rescheduled game against Liverpool (29th Jan) will be added to Round 25's card (1-2 Feb) which will thus be an 11 game round, with Liverpool and West Ham both playing again on Saturday 1st. Slightly befuddled? - don't fret, it's under control and there will be enough time to get your predictions up.

With 20 points up for grabs in a six day period the chance is there for any player to make a killing, so make the most of your picks.

Looking at the first set of fixtures below, there are some proper tough nuts to crack, with, to my eyes, only the Man City/Liverpool games resembling anything like a shoe-in. It's a tricky card to be sure. The second set looks slightly less daunting but there are some real rotters in there also, so good luck with that.

Surprise result of the weekend was Southampton's jaw-dropping payback at Leicester following their 0-9 slaughter at St Mary's back in October. Well done to Nutsberry who trapped a winning point, not surprisingly the only player to do so. The top-hitter, as he was last week, is Hitchcock with a fine 8 points and he jumps a couple of spots to 3rd. Not bad scoring all round really with no one below 4.
