Sorry, but I'm really irritated by that mask. Where the f**k is the skull? Also, just once I'd like to see a skilled h2h female movie fighter who doesn't use that scissor-leg hurricanrana throw. Talk about overused. Other than that, great looking trailer. If people were trained in the same place, they would know the same moves. They are both Black Widows. That doesn't explain why Wasp uses the same move, or Daisy Johnson, or Melinda May, or Colombiana, or Mrs. Smith, or Lara Croft, or some of the Charlie's Angels, or a whole plethora of other action females.

Okay, then think of it like this: It is an easy way for a woman to disorient a guy and bring him down quickly. Plus it looks good when they do it.

From a realistic point of view, it's not an easy maneuver to use at all. Forget the high gymnastic ability needed by the woman, the man can simply take a step back and the maneuver would fail. Now I agree it looks cool... if it isn't overused. Unfortunately it is used by nearly every female action star for the last 2 decades and it's getting pretty old.

I'll just tell my wife somebody took over my mind with codewords spoken in Russian.

And who do they all use it on? Faceless grunts. And it works every time on them. Also, up to Ant-man and the Wasp on my MCU chronological order viewing. Hope used it on a guy while she was flying and size changing.
How does it not working on Bucky mean that "it's an easy way to disorient someone" not true? It's still true because it still works. Bucky just knew how to counter it.
Saying that a martial arts move is overused is like saying a punch is overused. Does it bother you when you see someone doing a roundhouse kick or uppercut?

A jab, cross, front kick, roundhouse, tackle... these are all very basic moves that make up the foundation of human fighting, and they're pretty easy to do (relatively speaking). Trying to equate a hurricanrana to an uppercut is like comparing an icepick to a drill. A better comparison would be something like a tombstone piledriver. How would you feel if nearly every male action hero (regardless of size or musculature) used a tombstone piledriver in every one of their fights, again and again, whether against grunts or skilled opponents? Could you honestly say you wouldn't get tired of it?

We even see Captain Marvel kinda use it on Thanos.
But a Tombstone is not a visually exciting move that would allow for fast motion in a movie. It would have to be on the last grunt and be done like a reverse Hurricanrana. Like catching someone and spinning them really fast. But we do see a lot of them use the "Rock Bottom" (don't know the official name of it) or spear (if in motion).
And it seems a lot of wrestlers do the Hurricanrana (almost every female wrestler).

A spear is just a tackle, which is a very basic fighting move. I don't recall many male action stars performing a rock bottom other than Dwayne Johnson, so it's definitely nowhere near as overused as the hurricanrana. I disagree with the tombstone not being visually exciting, I find it pretty exhilirating to see. But fine, if you want something with more twirly-whirly stuff then let's say a spinning back breaker. What if almost every male action star performed a spinning back breaker in their fights, again and again, against numerous enemies regardless if they're grunts or final bosses. Can you really say you won't get tired of seeing it? And no, not all the characters that use the hurricanrana are athletic. Or rather, not all the actresses that use it are athletic. Or at least, not athletic enough to pull off a move like that in real life. I mean, sure I'm willing to suspend disbelief, same way I'm willing to suspend disbelief whenever I see Captain America do a spinning flip kick even though I know Chris Evans can never do anything like that in real life. But seeing a 110-pound Zoe Saldana pull off a hurricanrana is like seeing Chris Evans perform a choke slam. It will make sense in some movies where their powers provide logic, but it won't make sense in other movies. And it gets pretty tiring if you see it being pulled time and time again.

I wasn't interested in this originally but I'm starting to think it might be better than a bunch of others. Gives me Winter Soldier vibes.
