.......championships ?? Today on Colin Cowherd's show Mark Schlereth happened to mention that he believes that 12 out of the 32 teams in the NFL are committed to winning championships, while the other 20 are just doing their best to win games, and if they happen to get to, and/or win one here or there, then great. Whether you agree or disagree with him on just what the exact number might actually be, do you think YOUR team is one of those 12 committed to winning championships.........or simply just one of the other 20 ?? Cowboys are probably 1 of those 12 (In Cowherd's mind) but I can't see it happening. Like my Rugby League team St George, I'm sick of hearing how talented the team is. If that talent misses the playoffs every other year and never gets past the second week the years they do get there then that talent is over rated. We're not winning anything with this group of players.

He didn't say......and though at first I was disappointed, I quickly realized it's probably more interesting to figure out for myself what teams I would think are on that particular list, anyway...... SAVE FERRIS

Committed to winning? Dunno, do 11 SB appearances count?
I'll take a stab at his so called 12: Patriots Steelers Giants Ravens Packers Seahawks 49ers Cowboys Eagles Rams Chiefs

I reckon the Bills should replace the Giants in your list. Buffalo should be looking to do a lot more than win some games at this point. Giants are just looking to get some Ws next year after a couple of very poir campaigns.

I have to assume that the Steelers are one of them.

I think the Chargers are "committed" to winning a Super Bowl.
They just haven't been "successful" yet.

I think the Chargers are "committed" to winning a Super Bowl. They just haven't been "successful" yet. Funny - I think the complete opposite, well since the 2000’s began anyway. The Chargers are a club/team that at 0-0 aim to have a 8-8 season primarily, hopefully 9-7 and reach the playoffs with optimism. Only after about 12 games if the are 8-4 or better start thinking about a championship. If they reach the playoffs, it’s more fingers crossed than anything. Is this because of the presence of the Pats, Steelers and Ravens in the AFC and the likelihood of having to beat 2 of them to make a SB ? I’ll let you decide. BTW - I think the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders for the last 20 years have been exactly the same.

I don't think the Chargers are an organization that thinks 8-8 is any kind of goal, I would think all teams are shooting for something higher than .500 The main problem with the Chargers of the 2000's is this guy named Tom Brady. You take him and the Patriots out of the picture, and there's a good chance the Chargers could have at least made the Super Bowl at some point in the last 20 years. Last year was a great example, the Chargers had a very good team, but were destroyed when they went to Foxborough.

I added the Chiefs ahead of them for now.

Probably whoever happens to make it to the playoffs. Sounds like something Cowherd would do. Wait until the end of the season and whoever makes the playoffs, he can point and act like he knows what he's talking about.

I'd say the 12 teams would be the teams that are in the playoffs more often than not because of the fact.
Patriots Packers Ravens Cowboys (Maybe not in the playoffs but Jerry does everything he thinks he can to get a Super Bowl) Steelers Seahawks (Trade for Clowney is a win the Super Bowl type move) Saints (Trading up for Davenport was a win the Super Bowl move) Rams (Jalen Ramsey trade) 49ers Eagles Chiefs (maybe not so in the past but they are now)
The 12th team for me is probably a toss up between the Colts or Giants. Both have iffy moves of recent past that don't scream "trying to win a Super Bowl" but they're the two that pop into my mind when looking at the teams.
