Then you got to try these. Usually when I go to a steak house I get a steak. But sometimes when I go to Longhorn Steakhouse I get just their fries because they are so good. And you get plenty to fill you up. I get a couple beers with them because of the jalapeno peppers. (who am I kidding I would get the beers anyhow)

I would like these fries if there were no jalapeno peppers on them, don't like jalapenos.

15 years ago I would have gobbled that up, maybe 20 actually, not now. Now I'm pan seared coho salmon medium, roasted cauliflower, and butter beans on the side.

wickedkittiesmom, ZolotoyRetrieverThat would not be a problem. When ordering just ask them not to add the jalapeno peppers. Myself I like spicy stuff so I like them on those fries.

There are a couple of places in my area that double fry their French fries and they are so very good you don't need cheese or jalapenos. One day I asked the owner of one of the shops what made his fries so good? And he informed me about the double fry method.

I think to get them nice and brown and crispy, wouldn't you just leave them in the fryer longer? That's how I make mine at home.

Now I want fries.
I'll just make some potatoes. I microwave a potato for about 2/3 of the cooking time. Since my micro has a potato setting, I would micro a 15-oz potato at the 10-oz setting.
Then I...
slice the potatoes oil some foil on a baking pan place and then flip each slice on the foil Add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne and anything else
Broil 8 minutes Flip (pull off any skin that is starting to burn) Broil 5-6 more minutes.
Edit: Just made em. Added Buffalo Wing cheddar cheese and fresh jalapenos after the flip, cut the time to 4 minutes. Really good.

Yep and not just their fries. Their steaks are great. Never had their ribs but I bet they are good.
