Well I'm not going to do any Voodoo myself, but knowledge about it can't hurt. Thanks for posting, Clusium.

I personally rather stay away from getting involved with people who do Voodoo or any sort of black magic. Not that those people have any power or there is anything in voodoo itself but I believe people with not so good motives are more likely to get into voodoo or black magic.

Please Quite a few uneducated but not so otherwise bad people are misled into these paths either by general superstition or by others on promise of getting them rid of their personal or monetary problems. In my trip to Nepal I even heard of a certain black magic market but I was more content with visiting Himalayan scenery.

People like this can also have dark negative energy. Intention is always key too, consequence for how something is utilized is always going to determine outcome. WTF is 'dark negative energy'?

I guess people who spill blood (either their own or anyone else's) tend to perform red magic. But I am quite uneducated in this field. One of the girls in my class who was from Thailand seriously believed in certain rituals to cast spells or do certain magic but she was an otherwise very nice person and a very good friend.

I personally feel that a lot of times luck or random chance can play a role in determining outcomes but much like you I do think intention plays a big role too.

I've met some pagans on the Internet who are very nice and polite, but what have pagans and I got to talk about? Not much.

I'm sure there's lots of things I don't know about astrology and palm reading too. I'm not going to lose sleep worrying about it.

I'm sure there's lots of things I don't know about astrology and palm reading too. I'm not going to lose sleep worrying about it. If someone claims to be a palm reader I almost always ask them to read my future. Just want to understand their psychology and why they believe lines on one's palm can tell about their future. The worse thing is that many of them claim that astrology is apparently a science but none has ever explained to me how it is a science.

like a spear in the side of a made-to-order martyr
reducing recipes to their simplest form of ingest-ability often calls for a blood soaked dichotomy where piercing the side of someone is a hell of a lot easier to swallow than pulling out the still-beating heart as food prep for prehistoric pozole.

WTF is 'dark negative energy'? Something in the Marvelverse. I am sorry. I just don't understand how adjectives like the above can be applied to a word like energy'. What does it men in this context? It is all sounding a little too 'woo' for me!

In my trip to Nepal I even heard of a certain black magic market but I was more content with visiting Himalayan scenery. The sheer arrogance of the main religions always amuses me, beliefs that often pre date Christianity by millennia are dismissed in favour of one that is pretty much a mish mash of older religions and has the utterly "occult" belief of "Transubstantiation" and of a man rising from the dead. People are considered "uneducated" for believing in one religion whilst it is considered perfectly "normal" for millions to believe that when they take the bread and wine they actually become the body and the blood of a mythological figure from 2000 years ago.

Something in the Marvelverse. Something Gertie would know all about, being the dark negative comic clown that she is. I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I don't watch any of that shit.

The Catholic Church excepts voodoo, I learn something new every day. I was raised thinking voodoo was evil.
