There was one in my hometown I used to go to (I think it was one of the last ones in California). It was torn down probably in the late 90s/early 2000s or so.

Yes, all through my teenage years it was a great place to get into all sorts of trouble! Last time was just a few years ago we took our kids to one that was able to fund getting a digital projection system, that expense killed many of the holdovers.

There's one near me. I try to go a few times a year, but it's an all day thing. We get in line at 3pm, gates open at 6, and the first movie starts around 9pm. So we're there 6 hours before the first movie starts. And there's 3 movies! We've never made it through the 3rd movie.

I just saw Ford V Ferrari there. Between the darker screen and my ass getting sore, I definitely prefer a regular theater. Though seeing Grindhouse there felt fitting.

Many times. The last time was in the 80s, though. There hasn't been one in my area for over 30 years.

Went a lot in the 1970s. Sometimes 4 movies a night.

Yup, used to be one right down the road from where I grew up. It's a strip mall now I think.

I think I saw Flash Gordon at one back in 1980 but I’m not entirely sure. I remember having barbecue-flavoured chips.

Yea. More times than I could count. There’s still one about 45 minutes from my house.

I was a child of the 1970s, so yes quite often.

I've been to Bengies in the Baltimore suburbs and I've been to the Delsea, which is the only operating drive- in in New Jersey.

When I grew up, they were all over the place. We have three within a ten-minute drive in three directions; more further out. They were iconic. I grew up in the 50's and 60's. Loved them!

Not only did my family go to the drive-in a bunch of times in the 70's, but we went in a station wagon with wood paneling.

Sure. As a wee lad I was taken to a drive-in movie on just about a weekly basis. As a teen, a group of us would jam as may as we could in one of our vehicles for $1 a carload night. On other nights, one or two guys might go into the truck. Of course, we would have to wait until full darkness before letting them out.

Last time was for Jurassic Park.
While that specific one is still there and in business many others closed over the years.
