So you are already taking action on climate change 👏 It's not enough! Greta wants radical action.... And she is right. We have known this was coming for decades... Governments have largely sat on their hands about it, thinking we still have time. We'll, now we are out of time. The effects are now here. It is time to adapt or die.

And you won't say either except for some household tips.

Those 'household tips' are very powerful tools if everyone adopts them. One of the biggest contributions you can make is go vegan.

And I never drove an SUV. And I never had any children, so any "global warming" I caused was done by me alone and not by my offspring. How about I try breathing less? Maybe only one breath per minute?

"Climate Change," however severe or not, is one problem. There is a much greater problem that potentially could do more harm than anticipated so far. That problem is the failure of the general population to understand science.
There has been a conflation of science with democracy. Instead of showing cause and effect as science normally does there is an effort to establish facts by getting the most votes. Getting the most votes is a very sensible thing in politics and only so long as political questions are addressed. Getting the most votes doesn't work in science because, especially lately, far too many people are incapable of science.
They have become a "herd" following blindly what they believe is science, but is not. Obviously they are losing the argument. Obviously they do not believe it is their fault they are losing the argument. They blame others who they believe are the ones incapable of science. There's a dilemma. Who is capable of science then?
In the past science settled quite many mysteries of the universe in a way that was rather certain and observable with repeated demonstrations. That closed down arguments. No one argues how fast objects will fall due to gravity or what lightning is. The mysteries are gone. The debate is over once and for all.
That perhaps led to a dependence on "science" to solve problems it turns out science cannot. "Science" in the sense of closing down all arguments cannot solve political issues. Science cannot solve problems with too many unmanageable variables.
The reason the "scientists" lately are losing so many arguments is that they are not able to demonstrate cause and effect as was done so clearly in the past. They are not convincing as science was when it dealt with absolutely clear causes and effects.
It is time for the "scientists" on this board to consider why you are losing so bad. It is because science is not a democracy. It doesn't matter how many of you team up and applaud each other. It doesn't matter what flaws you find in one opponent or one other. That is not how science works. If only one of you was really capable of science that one could explain cause and effect in a way that would be as undeniable as gravity and no others would have to chime in. The truth of the matter is that not one of you can do that. All you can do is link articles that do not really show their work and you do not really understand.

The psychological need to reject the overwhelming scientific and political consensus and widespread reporting of same in favour of crackpot conspiracy theories cooked up in someone's basement is an odd one. Yes, it goes somewhat against the current accepted narrative, doesn't it? A lot of internally conceived narratives do.

[blah] Since you have previously insisted how it is impossible for you to meaningfully define what science is, then how can you make any meaningful comment on it?

"Science" is defined variously by various people. Some definitions are more strict. Opinions can vary on whether economics is a science. Although medicine is usually considered a science it can be fraught with rather numerous unknowns. It is not whether I can make any meaningful comment that matters here, it is whether you can acknowledge there are other beings in the universe.

The sad part is that by the time this is so in everyone's face that the death-wish morons like Erjen don't matter anymore and the large majority want something done... it's going to be too late. I've asked trash like you time and time again what must be done, and all I get is idiocy like turn off your lights when you're not using them. If you've got something sensible to suggest this time around, I'm listening. And retards like yourself have been told the answers, time and time again. If you want things you personally can do to reduce your emission footprint, there's no shortage of suggestions you can find online. Since googling "how can I reduce my carbon footprint" is apparently too hard for you, I've done it for you. davidsuzuki.org/what-you-can-do/top-10-ways-can-stop-climate-change/www.nrdc.org/stories/how-you-can-stop-global-warmingfriendsoftheearth.uk/climate-change/what-can-I-do-to-stop-climate-changeNote, none of them say anything like "create a vast global conspiracy". On a wider level, you can vote for politicians and parties that want to do something about climate change. Rather than the one you voted for, who claims it's a conspiracy created by the Chinese. Now go make an excuse to do nothing like a good little robot.

Yes it is; since, presumably, you wish your extended opinions on the subject to be seen as meaningful (and presumably flatter yourself that they are by the amount and length of them.) I see you did not answer my direct question, which is no surprise.

But hey, what do you care, a magic invisible planet is going to kill everyone in 2012 anyway, right? Oh, wait... no, it's the chemtrails that will kill everyone. Or the FEMA death camps. Or the vaccines. Or, or, or, or...

If you've got something sensible to suggest this time around, I'm listening. There is so much you can do... eg. - go vegan - eat seasonally - switch to a 100% green energy supplier - drive less - fly less - reduce use of single use plastics - plant trees - shower/bath less - reduce/reuse/recycle - turn your thermostat down just 2° - compost food and garden waste - micro electricity generation at home - grow your own - etc etc You left out - don't vote for politicians that are trying to undo 50 years of environmental protection laws

What I want to see is you answering direct questions. Have you tried CTRL+ALT+DEL? I don't think that will change your habits in disputation, unfortunately.
