If it has " ice" and " cream", or " soft" and " serve", or " frozen" and " yogurt", or " sherbet", or " sorbet", or " gelato", or EVEN " ice" and " milk" in its title, then I'm ALL for it!! After all, I like to think of myself as someone who not only enjoys, but is also an equal opportunity frozen treat kind of guy...... SAVE FERRIS

HOW about making a POLL about which CONE one prefers? Safety, sugar, waffle, etc... try to FIND-OUT the DIFFERENT types BEFORE making YOUR poll.

Ah, Msdemos, you keep an open mind ... and embrace diversity! An ice cream cone is a treat. If I have a big preference, it's in the cone, itself. I like the "sugar" cones that are thick, dark, crispy and rolled into a true cone shape. I think that they add to the overall flavor. The lighter, airy ones, that you usually find in the supermarket, are wimpy, although I still enjoy the treat that they hold. I like the truly creamy ice-creams, and gelato most. I'm not wild about most sherbets/sorbets, as they're a little too tart. Although Baskin-Robbins used to carry a dark chocolate/orange sherbet that was heaven. And, from childhood, I remember little cups of vanilla ice-cream, that had a dollop of orange/raspberry sherbet, that was about 1/4 of the whole. The creamy vanilla, and the tarter sherbet worked well together.

No, BUT I thought this POLL was going to be ABOUT the CONE, NOT the type of ice-cream inside the CONE (soft-serve OR hard/hand-scooped). So, in OTHER WORDS your poll is MISLEADING since it's REALLY about the ice-cream an NOT the CONE.
Alright, BUT later...

Alright, BUT later... I see... I went to correct it, but wasn't sure what to write. I don't know much about the cone itself... I am not a Connoisseur. I don't know much about the cones. but I love the filling!

I VOTED both EQUALLY and scooped. I like (LOVE, ACTUALLY) BOTH, BUT PREFER scooped (although it's CLOSE). IF I HAD to LIVE with ONLY one of the two for the REST of MY life...I'd STILL be HAPPY with EITHER. BUT HAPPIER with scooped!!

My fridge is dying. The ice cream was the first to melt. So I ate the whole pint. Running 24/7 now and sounds like a very loud freight train. I am wearing earplugs and had to move my work computer to the opposite end of the house.
Bought a new fridge but won't be delivered until Sunday - the others were days of a week later.
I guess I'll have to go out for ice first thing tomorrow and fill some coolers. Trying to cook the most expensive things first.

Food in freezer is still mostly frozen, but things like bread and toaster waffles are not. Fridge was $1250 or so, with hauling the old one out. At least the freezer is not on top, and it has the door water/ice and better visibility inside.

Refrigerator is 52 degrees, I think the freezer may be warmer. A few things outside in the cold air.
