The 5th round draw will take place Monday evening, from 7:20pm, before the AFC Bournemouth - Arsenal game.
This year, 5th round games will not be played on a traditional February weekend, but shamefully slotted in to a March midweek, Tuesday 3 March to Thursday 5 March... This is to accommodate the EPL 'break' in February ☹️
Further devaluing the world's oldest and best domestic cup competition, as the FA bends down further to kiss the arse of the financial clout of the Prem.
Moan over... There's some good looking fixtures this weekend 👍
If Tranny do the unthinkable, and knock United Biscuits out of the cup on Sunday, I reckon Ole might be gone on Monday 🤔

I want Tranmere to win but I dont want Ole to lose his job. Hope they get a draw and a lovely few quid from Old Trafford

Yeah, OGS really doesn’t want to lose this one.
Brentford v Leicester looks a cracker. The B’s are doing well this year.
Coventry v Birmingham looks a good one too. A local(ish) derby game.

Don't care if we win or lose. Losing may be better.

Don't care if we win or lose. Losing may be better. That's not the spirit man! It's the Cup! You made the 6th round last year... Onwards and upwards... Magic of the Cup, and all that.

Brentford not even trying.
Ian Nacho opens the scoring for Leicester.

Leicester win... and that's the last ever FA Cup game to be played at Griffin Park, the only ground with a pub at every corner.

We've actually got the best record of any team outside the EPL 3 QF in the last ten years I think. We have made 4 changes and should have just scored (am watching a stream)

Apparently this is the last round where a replay is possible. Why not just say that teams in the EPL's time is so much more valuable than other clubs. If the stuck up cunts don't want to be in the competition, then fine, if they do then abide by the rules and don't change them to suit the rich clubs. What next, a bye to the quarter finals for the big 6?

No cupsets to speak of yet this weekend... but all three of today's games have the potential for a giant killing.
With four games to go, so far in the pot for the 5th round draw are:
Sheffield Wednesday Leicester Norwich Sheffield United Portsmouth West Brom Chelsea Northampton/Derby Coventry/Birmingham Newcastle/Oxford United Reading/Cardiff Southampton/Tottenham

"Five of the 12 FA Cup fourth-round ties on Friday and Saturday went to replays, which could be played during the Premier League's 'winter break' in early February.
However, it is understood the Football Association is committed to working with clubs to maintain a winter break for Premier League teams."
Good to see where priorities lie. Perhaps non EPL sides could just cease to exist so as not to be too much of a nuisance.

Got to admit I have very little interest in the FA Cup these days.

Got to admit I have very little interest in the FA Cup these days. I still like it, despite them diminishing it's prestige year after year. Everybody gets a shot at it. No arsing about with group stages. Simple win and you're through format, for everyone. I believe the FA Cup final is still the most watched domestic football final in the world every year? It's not what it used to be though, that's a sad fact ☹️

No odds in today's game for picking winners, too lopsided... so I've gone for a cheeky penalty to be taken in both the Man City and Liverpool games double at 14/1.

I’ve done something a little silly - I’ve bet the lot in my account on Man City -> Man Utd -> Pool -> Arse all up. I had $124. It wins $399.

Watch out for Man Utd slipping up on Tranmere's shitty pitch though. Prenton Park is in a bit of a state apparently.
