Protein and energy bars.
Electrolyte and energy drinks.
Bagged salad mixes.
Prepared frozen food meals.
There are large sections of grocery stores dedicated to these, and I just walk on by.

Prepared frozen food meals.
There are large sections of grocery stores dedicated to these, and I just walk on by. No to the first two, but yes to the other two (highlighted). I find bagged salad mixes to be not only good, but very convenient. I like fresh salad bars, too. Years ago I used to buy individual salad ingredients (whole heads of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, etc.) and make my own, but that got to be way too much of a hassle, and ultimately wasteful. Bagged salad mixes and salad bars are a blessing, IMHO.
Prepared frozen food meals (does anybody still call them "TV Dinners"? I still do.) are nice to have on hand. IMHO there are some really good ones out there. I don't make a routine of eating them, but yeah, they're nice to have around.
Some food trends I never got into: "Lite" or "Low Fat" anything, or "tofu" anything, or imitation crab, etc. No to boxed wines, too.

Though maybe not a trend per se, I abhor any frozen product that carries the "Banquet" logo.

Protein and energy bars. Electrolyte and energy drinks. Bagged salad mixes. Prepared frozen food meals. There are large sections of grocery stores dedicated to these, and I just walk on by. That's a pretty good list. Although, I do occasionally buy bagged spinach, because it has been well washed, and it saves hassle. I've moved away from some. For example, I used to use a lot of bottled dressings. I've been making my own for about 10 years, now. Same thing with prepared soup. I've come to enjoy making (and eating) my own soups. They're so easy, and you can do anything you want with them. I have no intention of even trying one of those services that deliver all of the ingredients for a full dinner, to your door. I can't think of any of the names, right now. Nor, do I plan to order meats, like Omaha Steaks.

Drinks like Red Bull, protein bars, Starbucks, and , like divtal, I have no intention of using those places that deliver your ingredients to make a meal.

Protein and energy bars. Electrolyte and energy drinks. Bagged salad mixes. [ there have been too many e-coli outbreaks from them]
Prepared frozen food meals. There are large sections of grocery stores dedicated to these, and I just walk on by. Yes to all of those. Also: kale smoothies (don't understand them) pre-marinated raw meat/fish. I'll add my own spices/sauce thanks. Always think they're covering up meat that's slightly "off". gluten-free. They usually take out the gluten and add extra sugar for binding. Only people that should eat those products are people that have real gluten allergies. The same holds true for lactose-free.

Coffee is my only energy drink. Another popular food I can think of that I have never liked is red velvet cake. The featured ingredient is food coloring. It was originally made with beetroot and carob. Now it is just red food coloring and sugar. What the hell does anybody like about that?

I think its the cream cheese icing that makes red velvet cake popular, I enjoy a very small piece once in a while, the cake itself doesn't have much flavor. The icing is so rich, I can't eat a lot of it. Its very popular here in the Deep South. I hardly ever saw red velvet cake in the other parts of the country I have lived.

Even the name "guacamole" is sort of off-putting to me, lol.

Some things, like salads and coleslaw, are good eaten raw, but most other vegetables I like cooked just enough to take the crisp out of them. I never got into the whole stir-fried vegetables thing, where the vegetables come out still pretty close to raw. Things like green beans and broccoli are horrible that way. I need them cooked!

I usually prefer raw vegetables, including broccoli. My grandmother used to cook broccoli until it was mush. She was a very good cook but she had to cook for my southern grandfather who preferred southern-style cooking, like mushy broccoli and corn on the cob cooked all afternoon. So I can really appreciate salads and stir-fry. But like you say, green beans need to be cooked.

Zolotoy: As one of seven kids growing up in the 1950's, my mom would make sure we were fed...unfortunately, with cheap Banquet frozen dinner products. Later when I was drafted, I was mortified by Army food, and swore that once I was on my own, I would never go back to crappy food and if I am going to eat a frozen dinner, it will always carry the "Stouffer's" logo.

Sushi - I don't dislike it but neither do I order it in restaurants or buy it in grocery stores.

That reminds me ... "veggie burgers." Once, I had a taste of one that my Mom ordered. No thanks. And, now, I understand that there's something called "Beyond Meat." Creepy.

We make red velvet cake for our customers all the time(WI). Most like cream cheese, but sometimes they'll ask for our ganache, or strawberry/raspberry filling.

There is one Banquet Dinner that I enjoy and that's their Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice. I usually cannot eat rice because of a problem with my esophagus but I can handle the rice in this frozen dinner as long as I eat it slowly. I just like the taste of this dinner and I figure most of the food we eat nowadays is unhealthy so I don't worry and I always keep a Sweet and Sour Chicken dinner in the freezer to have when WKD has fish or steak for supper.
