This is incredibly sad. I rarely ever watch basketball but I know he was a legend

Has it been reported who else was on board besides Kobe and his daughter? The pilot, a teammate of KB’s daughter and one of the teammate’s parents (not sure if it’s the mother or father).

R.I.P. Kobe Bryant (1978-2020). You were a basketball legend and my prayers are with his family and all of the basketball community!!!
He was one of my favorite basketball players growing up and the main reason I started rooting for the Lakers. This is very tragic news and a very tragic day for everyone who liked him or watches basketball. He is an a much better place now.

He is an a much better place now.
Do not agree with that. And I am not talking about Heaven & Hell.
He enjoyed life. He loved his family. He was helping young people. Had tons of money. To say he is an a much better place now is absurd.

To say he is an a much better place now is absurd. And to say you know for sure he isn't in a better place is equally absurd. We can, have, and always will argue about what happens after death, but the simple truth is that none of us knows for sure.

This was the lead story on the local news at 6:00. I imagine it was the lead story on ALL the news networks.
The headline read "Legend Remembered". I thought....oh, no.
Then, I heard who it was. It immediately changed to "Holy crap!"
RIP Kobe Bryant.
