You usually are for an MCU movie?
For me, it's much less. I want to see it, but it doesn't interest me anyway near as much as say, Dr Strange 2 or Thor Love and Thunder.
But, I posited this very question on an MCU fan forum and pretty much everyone said they were more excited. This suprised me so I thought I'd post the question here as well...

As a general rule, I don't get that excited for prequels. The fact that I know something is going to have to happen usually takes some of the fun out of it. Now there are exceptions. I was pretty excited for Rogue One. So yeah not as excited to see Black Widow than I have been for other MCU movies. I think the movie I'm least looking forward to is Eternals though.

I have to admit I agree with you. I was really looking forward to a Black Widow movie once upon a time, but the timing of this movie is weird. Releasing the movie now makes it feel like a filler episode in between Endgame and bigger movies like Dr. Strange 2 and Thor 4. Those two feel like game changers in the overall MCU timeline. The Black Widow movie just seems like a filler to tide us over till then same way the Antman movies felt. Shame really, since Black Widow was long due her own movie. But knowing that she's already dead and doing it after Endgame just lessens the impact of the movie.

Nope. If anything I've been even more pumped lately because I've become a Florence Pugh fan after seeing Midsommar and Little Women.

Yes I’m very excited. They could have easily phoned it in.

I'm definitely less excited for Black Widow. I'm pretty sure there'll be interesting tie-ins, but I won't rush out to see it on opening day like I did with the other Marvel films.

It looks awesome but I probably won’t be seeing it in the theaters. Unless I hear that it has something huge going on that’s connected to the future of the MCU.

I'm never excited for backstories. Esp after we just witnessed her death.
