My point was, as proven, that Disney\Pixar have taken the biggest piece of the pie out of this category. But that's not your point. You said that Disney/Pixar always win. Ah, so now a movie's individual popularity is what counts rather than the studio? Make up your mind! there were only 2 other nominees, one being Disney's Monster's Inc. Which toooootaaaaallyyyyy isn't mega-popular. That seems a little contradictory, since foreign animated films aren't as mainstream.

I know they don't "always" win, it was just a figure of speech because they win more often than not. Then just say that. You don't need figures of speeches. If you're trying to make a point, especially one that has to do with the details of each nomination/win, be detailed when explaining yourself.

don't play devil's advocate. I don't think you know what that means. I know English isn't your first language And yet I put it to better use than you. You sound like you just want to buffer up a point sometime, when it has already been debunked. Look back at all the previous posts. You have yet to prove any of your claims. If you don't like being proved wrong, don't go to a place where that can happen.

That's your reply? Nay... That's how you start your reply? Why am I picturing you with a dress, pigtails, nails with glitter and a lollipop in your mouth? I am still waiting for your point of context. I already disproved everything you said. I don't know what more you want. Your reviews and the ratings you offer them speak as much too. Don't change the subject... unless it's your way of admitting you're wrong.

I'm disappointed that Klaus didn't win. Academy voters don't take animated films that seriously and tend to vote for the typical Disney or Pixar film. I'm glad to see Hair Love won. It was funny that Josh Gad took a jab at John Travolta's "Adele Dazeem" mishap. I don't know why the bother having an animated category, nothing else wins in the shadow of Disney and Pixar. Can you pick some years/movies that should have won over a Disney or Pixar flick? I looked at a few years and of the movies I've seen I couldn't find any that would usurp the winner. Maybe Persepolis.
