Having already posted The Pointer Sisters, that one made me think of this one: "We Are Family" - Sister Sledge (April, 1979)I know......I'm leaning a bit heavily on disco, even though I was NOT a fan of the era......just happened to have a HUGE crush on the Sledge Sister (Kathy?) back in the day who's the lead singer on this one, and who, I believe, was the "baby" of the family (if I remember correctly......though I could EASILY be completely wrong on that!) Here's to the Pittsburgh Pirates of 1979 and their fans (who "adopted" this song as their 'team anthem' on the way to the World Series title that year!)...... SAVE FERRIS
